Pretty much as the title sums it up, someone was lookn at my brews and the thermostat must have fell off the FV.

It has been brewing only for a week.

I found the thermostat cable laying outside the the fridge this morning quickly stuck it back on the FV final read was at 5c, few hours later it currently is sitting at 14c and rising...

Is my brew gunna be ok or did I kill the fermentation?

If it's already been a week the main flavour compounds and fermentation should be completed so it should be alright.

Get the temp back to your target temp and take a gravity reading.

Relax and have a homebrew.

P.s find a better way to keep that probe in place.

Be glad it wasnt winter and you had a heat belt in there. I had the same thing happen and i cooked a schwartzbier.
