Well after weeks of waiting i finally got time to put my brewery on wheels together. I now have copper piping go here there and every where. It makes brewing so much easier.

I thought i might as well throw together a brew to the spec of the mash paddle. Something i should have brewed weeks ago

With the pump i batch sparged. It usually takes me about 6 hours to get a batch ready, today only 3 hrs.

Heres the recipe if anyone is interested. I used Ringwood yeast. Just dropped it onto my Son of A Bitch POR Pale Ale. 40IBUS

Still plenty of time till the paddle is due...

I noticed your OG is up round 1.048? - Max OG is ment to be 1.038 into the fermentor.
I went down a slightly different road with my Paddle entry. I used Saaz and Hallertau and a koelsh yeast (thats an ale yeast isn't it ;-)). Been cold conditioning for a month now. the keg is a bit dry, hopefully the bottle conditioned entries will have a bit more body...

i figure its only a month away. Not enough time to really go for it anyway.

Measuring in the fermentor before pitching though gave me a SG of 1.040.
 
This beer turned out really boring. Just dry hopped with 3 plugs of EKG.
