Well after being inspired by others and having a stuffed hand and not being able to lift i have decided to put together a brewstand.

Its still in development stage (excuse the electical tape and unpainted finish etc etc)

The gap in the middle is for my mash tun, currently being redesigned

Special thanks to Franko for the dimensions

Nice one! i gotta get me one of those someday

Wow! The breweries only get better and better !!

Well done Berazafi .

Love the Plumbing !!!

Your going to have so much fun with that brewery it will last a life time and built like a brick **** house .

When you are dead and gone I reckon that will still be brewing beer .

Franko I said you were setting a new benchmark for breweries .

Pumpy :)

Your not wrong about it outlasting me, the steel i had lying around was bought for a tray on the back of a 4x4, just never got around to using it. I estimate it weighs over 100kg

Is the second ball valve from the right for recirculating the wort in the mash tun ?

pumpy :)

Yep, that valve will have a hose conected to it for recirculation/filing of the boiler, i will be adding a rims unit in there eventully

I have plans to have 2 pid temperature controllers running the HLT and MASH, and have electronic volume measurment, all in good time

Dave that's a nice rig.
You have been busy with your time away from work. :)
I will get one one day but I will start with a trade in on the old esky.

Let me know when you are going to get the pid's you spoke to me about as I will get in on your order.

Looks great mate. Will be a nice system to use, got to love the single tiers.

Have you given any thoughts to how you will drain the water out of the copper pipes. You seem to have a nice little water trap there below the vessels and pumps. I'm not sure how much water will get trapped in there but it might get ugly if it sits for a while.

Cheers, Justin

This stand is very similar to the one that I want built (except I'll be using metal from pallate racking legs)
What are the actual dimensions of this frame?

Cheers
