after an excellent day's brewing, i thought i'd show off my new brewery which is finally up and running after a couple of months of planning/ purchasing/ putting together.

stainless steel vessels by beerbelly (50L, 50L, 70L)- insulated hlt and mash tun, element installed into hlt along with herms coil, stainless valves and camlocks from geordi, silicon hoses, italian burner from beerbelly, plate chiller, march pump, stainless bench, 50L stainless conical and i finally have a fermenting fridge. at present i manually switch the element and pump as i don't mind being hands on (having being used to jug transfers)- but in future, who knows? wayne did an absolutely fantastic job with the stainless pots- workmanship second to none.

knocked out a 23L batch of IPA a couple of weeks ago, but today managed to use the system to its capacity for a double batch of amber ale- which all went very smoothly.

i'm a happy boy...

wow Remi, you are playing in the professional league already.

thats an awesome setup, just beautiful.....ahhhh.....what a conical.....

thats brewers hardcore **** B)

mate, that is a serious step-up (on about 15 different levels) from your previous gear/setup :super: . you've got the brewing bug and you've got it bad.. i mean, good!

beautiful looking rig all around. first class.

reVox

yep, i've certainly been bit by the bug- and bit pretty bad at that.

Looks good Remi. What is the material used to insulate your HLT and MLT?

What a shame you can't keep that fridge door open though... ;)

thanks td- the insulation is neoprene (done by beerbelly)- seems to do the job well in my cold melbourne garage!

remi

Nice one, neoprene is pretty much the best stuff out there from what I hear. Looks great too!

That's absolutely magnificent Remi

but I think your going to have to stick to single batches

otherwise you won't get to play with it enough.

Cheers Jim
