Yep, got done for not putting a NSFW alert, bit like getting a speeding ticket. Got a ban for 2 days

so you get no warnings? thats cool not sure what banning people for a few days would do, I would give people warnings then after you had enough ban them for 3 months or more depending on whats been done.

anyway your a you know what anyway so you get that some times ;)

And "Not Safe For Wives" I opened one in front of the missus once... :D

cocko was banned but I think he is not any more, I am not sure. Maybe his feeling got hurt :p

i mod on a forum and we give the offender a warning, put them on mod review, and if they persist they are banned.

I agree with the ban rule. Where ever or not it's a warning, or a couple of days ban, for a first offense should be up to the mod to determine based on the offense itself. 3 months or longer should be at least repeat offenders. As long as the ruling is shown in the terms and conditions and is implemented uniformly, it is all legit and I think what was needed.

What would you use the NSFW stamp for. Is it used for projects that could be potentially dangerous, like wiring a temp controller to a fridge?

I think it is aimed a rude / porn material. Think of something if you had on your screen at work and people around could object, and you could potentially loose your job over.

There was a warning about NSFW links and shit at the top of the forum in the "IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT" bar, I can't remember what it said exactly but it did mention you would be banned.

Looks like it's been replaced recently though.

I agree with the Mods a brewing forum is not the place for porn or NSFW type material.

A 2 day ban is nothing it may stop you posting but does not stop you reading. Plenty members here who never post but read and learn.

I never realised bradsbrew wore glasses
