Adblock. Right click on add if not already blocked and block it.

Done.

I have adblock on all other websites, but allow adverts for AHB - and I click on the adverts when I want to shop at a sponsor - it's not much but something small I can do to help AHB.

I always took this attitude myself until that animated ad showed up.

Can't wait for the marquee, guys...

Adblock Plus also has element hiding functionality. That's what I used so only that exact image has been blocked.

Pretty sure you'd know Craftbrewer's URL by now. Just add it to your bookmarks.

If you hadnt have mentioned it i would have ignored it
I seen a flashing something but didnt read it until OP
Because it is annoying enough you just want to get rid of it
Not knowing who or what it is for
Hence can anyone tell me what it was for
Or did everyone ignore what it was for

It is a very old
Fashioned way of trying to get
A consumer's attention by making an
Image flash
I hope they try pop-ups next
I really miss those things

pop ups work because you need to read it to see if it is a virus
Flashing shit in the corner is a waste of time and money
Or a WOFTAM
Waste Of Time F#cking And Money

Edit -: a spastic was doing the spelling

So there are pop-ups that say "Click here for virus"?

Ad is still there... on a lot of browsers you can press Escape and it will stop .gif files in their tracks.

Anyone else find the ESB site overlay ads for Free Wort Kits make the site almost unusable?
Can't get any access through Firefox, the site is inaccessible behind an overlay (of nothing, just a darkened screen), (ad)blocking the overlay renders the menus accessible, you just can't add any content to your cart! IE7 just crashes full stop. Chrome does seem to work.
Chrome is hit and miss, some things work, many don't.

No idea how it'd go on a mobile/tablet. YMMV.

I have this issue as well using FF.

Just a nice darkened screen that I can't do anything with... I'm thinking the whole adblocker thing has just prevented a purchase or 3 - not so much by myself, but for anyone else in a similar situation.
