Canberra Brewers have scheduled the ACT Qualifying Championships for the weekend of 6-7 September 2014. If, in the event that there is no Tasmanian Qualifying Championships in 2014, Canberra Brewers are again happy to accept Tasmanian entries as their pre-qualifier for the Nationals (as per paragraph C11 of the AABC’s ,Aims, Rules and Information).

The ACT Qualifying Championships will follow AABC styles (http://www.aabc.org.au).
Entry Guidelines are as follows:
1. Entrants will need to provide either 1 x 500 to 750 ml bottle or 2 x 330 to 375 ml stubbies per entry.
2. The ACT Qualifying Championship will cost $8 per entry.
3. Payment is required before the judging of your beer/s. Non-payment will result in disqualification.
4. Direct deposit into the club bank account is the preferred method of payment.
5. Entries will be provided with a unique number – this number is to be affixed to your bottle/s.
6. Brewers can enter up to two beers per style category, but not two beers into the same style.
So if you are interested in qualifying for the Nationals, lock in the dates and contact me in July for details on registering, shipping and payment arrangements.
