Guys

Its on again the Sydney bulk Grain Buy just in time for Christmas. Last time the list took forever to fill and i think it was because we were using the spread sheet and the thread was not getting bumped when people added their bags. So we will revert back to the old system and just add your names to the list. We will go for 2 pallets one from each supplier.

We will be going through All Things Homebrew at Penrith again. So get in and fills these pallets up for a pre christmas delivery.

Cheers

Hi Matt, I haven't done this in a while and see that you now list kg prices. Does that mean that we could order up just a few kgs here and there? Or do we need to arrange splits as before?

yeah sorry that is a little confusing it is just there so it clear how cheap they are. No splits here besides half bags. The guys at all things homebrew look after us on pick up with usually $3.50kg for all split grains on spec malts in stock. there is also deals on floor stock, hops and yeast.

Thanks for the SMS Matt.....you are a champ for doing this mate.

Summer time is wheat beer time for me. Does anybody want to go half in a bag of rolled wheat and half a bag of Pilsner with me? I am more than happy to pick up and drop off for somebody in tthe Hills / Hornsby or Blacktown / Kings Langley areas.

I struggle to use 2 full bags and storing grain is a bit of a bugger.

Let me know boys!

Anthony

How often do these Sydney bulk buys come around? I'm contemplating buying a Grain Father for Christmas and don't have a mill yet. I'd rather not jump the gun if a Sydney bulk buy tends to happen 3-4 times a year. However, if it is a once a year event, waiting another 12 months is not a great option.

I'm in the same boat, still yet to get a mill but looks likely in the coming months. Will jump on board if this is annual but will wait till the next one if more regular as per above.
