Hey guys,
Anyone used Super Alpha?
I've got 50g that I want to use up, anyone got any suggestions?
I'm new to hopping so I'm not sure what style this hop would suit, I'd appreciate a little help.

The BYO Hop Lovers guide lists Super Alpha as 10-12% Alpha Acids (Cohumulone 36-39%, Beta acid 7-8.5%, oils 1.3%), typical beer style - Any, Possible substitutes - blank, Flavour description - blank.

From that I'm guessing just use it as a bittering hop at the start of the boil?

I'd like to know too as I have about 8 Super Alpha plants growing in the backyard that should hopefully crop next year. Let us know how you go brother.

I've used it heaps. It's a clean bittering hop. You can use it in almost any beer where you want a neutral flavour from the bittering addition. Just substitute it in to achieve the same IBU.
