mouse hmmm.

There is a back flavour that I am not fond of, that I have never been able to come up with a descriptor for. Next time I try one I will keep "mouse" in mind to see if that's it. What do you think - a fatty acid thing??

To be honest I'm not sure... it could even be from the malt, yet I don't really taste it in Invalid.

how many of you eat mice to know what they taste like ;P

hmmm a new tasting descriptor to discuss at the next melbourne bjcp session.

IMHO, All CUB beers have a marzipan note that lingers
going to have to go eat some marzipan now to remind myself of what it tastes like

With all these new maltings going in, it's a pity Australian hop growers don't also extracto digitum and increase volumes and varieties, or maybe Tasmania and Victoria have run out of suitable growing sites?
