I think it would be cool to have a brew club that brews on premise at one of the campus bars. Students get to play with some bling gear, the pub sells the beer at a cheap rate back to the students. win win

Even could get the faculty of business involved to worry about licensing etc
Science guys to test isomerization of the alpha acids. Or better still measure the AA% of our homegrown hops.

Hmmmm, the science guys here really like it when you show an interest, as most people i've met doing science are trying to get into medicine. I wonder what kind of equipment you need to test AA levels, i'll find out.

Engineering guys could make up a big stainless fermeter, i'm sure there's a cold room around here somewhere as well...
