Hi all!

I've been brewing kits for a few years and decided to stop mucking around and make the step up to proper brewing, so I can stuff things up all by myself. Joined this forum at last after lurking for months as it's a veritable fountain of Aussie home brew knowledge and God knows I'll need help.

Just need an urn or perhaps a Big W 19L pot and I'll have everything I need. Just need to decide if I want to start with a SMaSH, IPA or Stout.

Cheers :)

Good move Wildrover,

An urn is a good move into all grain, combined with a concealed element a grain bag,a hoist is handy (bunnings) and an accurate temperature probe.
Get a simple pale amber golden ale recipe from a good source and away you go,keep in mind your water losses due to grain absorption and boil evaporation
so you end up at correct volume and SG.Once you start your thirst for trying sparging and different mashing temperatures will come, you will never look back.
