Using up the last few kit cans I have, one is a coopers Heritage Lager. I've decided to keep this one quick & easy so I don't want to do a hop boil, however I still want to lift it up with some POR flowers I have. Instead of dry hopping, I was thinking of steeping the flowers in a French press and adding the liquid into the fermenter as I fill it.

1.5kg liquid light malt extract
250g carapils steeped.
S-189 Swiss lager yeast
mid to low teens or however cold I can get it with frozen water bottles.
so, how much POR would be a sensible amount? 15g? 30g? I've never used this hop before and generally it seems to be used mostly for bittering or for making disparaging comments about when used by evil big beer companies, so I'm not sure how to use it at the aroma end. Given that the kit will have enough bittering and presumably (hopefully?) some flavour of its own, I don't want to increase the bitterness by much.
The other side to the question is how long to steep the flowers for in the French press? I've seen suggestions ranging from 1 min to 10 mins. Given that some bitterness seems to come from steeping in boiling water, I was thinking no longer than 3 mins at the most - or is this even too long?
Hoping to get some advice from anyone who's done something similar with this hop.
