Has anyone used the 1/2inch flexi stainless braided hose to transfer boiling/near boiling wort???
Id want to use it between my kettle and counterflow chiller,at the moment its a ridgid connection and id like a flexi one so there is less stress on my kettle tap, just wondering if it you get any rubber taste from the internal hose??
cheers

would you say then that Mr Malty's Calc's for pitching Dry yeast is based on Re-hydrated?

For the price don't waste your time, get silicone and some hose clamps (if needed) and be done with it. There is a reason why people prefer to use silicone and at worst braided re-enforced vinyl hose.

If you want to use braid look for the teflon stuff much better. I would look at pirtek or earls for it.
