Anybody made anything special for St Paddy's Day?

I left it a bit late but put together an Irish red ale on friday. Hopefully it'll be drinkable in time!

4.5kg Marris Otter
.15kg CaraRed
.1kg Melanoidin
.1kg CaraAroma
50g Roast Barley

30g Styrian golding @45

Used us04 instead of an Irish ale yeast so it would hopefully ferment out in time...

Looks good. Ive also done an irish red.

Based on the Better Dead than Red recipe in DB. Bottle later this week though so its going to be super green (not in an Irish way).

Mine tastes good. Was my first BIAB and made a few mistakes. Ended up with efficiency into fermentor at 67% and I think it will be a bit lower than posted alcohol %. Didn't turn out red but brown. Still in bottle conditioning but tasted nice coming out of fermentor. Tasted more like a smithwicks than a Kilkenny but still nice. Would make again but tweek to get more red into it.

Yeah mine was pretty damned tasty. I didn't quite hit my target OG so would have been slightly lower alcohol too. But I'm not concerned. Might leave it in the keg for a few weeks too.
