My poor old marga mill died after about 6 years of loyal service... Actually it pretty much exploded...
The bottom roller was actually smooth...

So pulled out the MillMaster i had sitting in the shed gathering dust for the last 4 years and began the task of motorizing it.
I had been collecting bits and pieces over the years so i had pretty much everything i needed.

So after about 6 hours of slapping shit together this is what ended up with...

It cracks 8 kg of grain in under 90 seconds...

I'm mad jelly bro.
That hopper looks like a great idea. Any chance you could take some other photo or explain it to me more? I just setup my MM and I'm using a old pot as a hopper, it can be a real pain.

The hopper just a couple of 20 litre cubes that i cut the top and bottom off.
One of them i cut triangles out each side from half way down and pushed the edges together to make funnel.
Wrapped it all up in gaffa tape to hold it together and thats it...
I made abracket that bolts on top to hold it on :)

Unfortunately i didnt take any picks during construction. :(
