actually boiling water is a great sanitiser but as soon as it comes in contact with an item and is removed from the heat source its effectiveness drops. so if you boil the item in it, excellent. if you just pour it on something its not that good.
also joining a forum to post crap like that and grave digging could be considered spam. normally its polite to introduce your self first.

Myself I leave a sodium met solution in empty fermenters and rinse on brew daw followed by a quick dose of one shot.

I've been doing this for years and never had a problem.
Give things a good soak with napisan every now and then to keep things squeaky clean.
