Hi,
I picked up a sodastream cylinder from a friend of a friend and it hasn't been filled for many years. I went to fill it but it was leaking from both the pin and the base thread. I took it off the cylinder and found that the o-ring was pretty old and hard (easilty replaced) but it didnt seem to have a seal on the pin. I think there's meant to be a nylon seal on the pin but I can't seem to find any details of it anywhere. I did find a video of a guy who pull one apart that showed this nylon seal. Mine's the same older style with a small pin just like in the video but with the aussie thread and not the USA one. Any info would be much appreciated.
