I have one of these on the ball lock fitting on my kegs.

I used to use Sodastream bottles via an adaptor when I lived and brewed in the UK, but can't find one here in Oz.

I have arthritis, so can't screw the 16g bulbs in quickly enough that I don't lose most of the gas.

Can anyone help, please?

Thanks, but I have a ball lock connector.

Thanks anyway - Chris

I use one similar to this for connecting a sodastream cylinder in restricted space.
#Aliexpress € 23,56 41%OFF | Sodastream CO2 Mini Gas Charger 0-90 PSI Gauge for Soda Water Beer Kegerator Beer Homebrew Home Brew CO2 Regulator Charger Kit

I use a mini regulator that takes both bulbs and regular CO2 bottles, into this I have a soda stream to standard regulator adaptor which screws onto a soda stream bottle. All parts can be sourced from Kegland.

https://www.kegland.com.au/sodastream-cylinder-adapter.html or https://www.kegland.com.au/deluxe-sodastream-cylinder-adapter-with-pin-adjustment.html
and finally, https://www.kegland.com.au/450gram-...illable-gas-cylinder-for-co2-or-nitrogen.html with one of these https://www.kegland.com.au/sodastream-cylinder-filling-adapter-filling-station-with-bleed-valve.html to round it off. If you don't have a larger cylinder then the refilling adaptor is not much use to you.

Thanks.

So, the Sodastream bottle screws in under the gauge?

Chris
Yes, and you can back off the knob on top, so that the valve is closed while you are connecting the cylinder, then open it when the cylinder is screwed in, that way you won't lose the contents of the cylinder while connecting it, I'll post a photo in a bit

Appreciate the detailed response, but the single piece unit from Aliexpress will fit perfectly in my limited space.
Thanks again - Chris

The unit that I bought does not have a thread (and is not deep enough) for a 16g bulb.

As well, this unit is threaded for the Europe/US/UK D Sodastream bottles.

So what did you buy ? , if you bought a mini reg with a sodastream adapter then all you would need is a ball lock fitting with a barb for the gas line to attach to.

If you haven't got one to suit yet, I've got one you can have for $10 plus postage, as I've got the mini-reg and no longer use it.

It takes a 16g bulb without issue.

Thanks for the offer, but I can use the keg charger shown in my first post for the 16 bulbs.
I need an adaptor to go from the US/UK/EU regulator to the AU bottles.

Thanks for the offer - Chris
