HAS ANYONE EVER NOTICED THAT THE LITTLE TAP DOWN THE SIDE OF THE TOILET CISTERN FITS ONTO A SODA STREAM CYLINDER AND A REGULATOR.
I WAS SITTING HAVING A QUICK PONDER ABOUT THE WHOLE SITUATION
WHEN I REACHED FOR THE DUNNY PAPER AND BAM IT HIT ME,THAT LITTLE TAP THE ROLL IS TIED TO MIGHT JUST FIT!!!!!!!! AND IT DOE'S MIGHT NEED SOME WORKING ON LIKE A BRASS OR METAL PIN ON THE VALVE BUT BASICALLY IT WORKS.COST FROM BUNNINGS TWO DOLLARS.

DONT JUST DRINK BEER THINK BEER.

Mate, I hope you're not seriously considering actually doing this.....

If so, you might want to keep in mind that the pressure in the soda stream bottle is around 57 atmospheres (5.7MPa or 850PSI) and your $2 converter is only designed to handle domestic water pressure, which I think is around 35-50 PSI.

What are you actually trying to achieve, that turning the regulator down wont?

I would have expected that only a high pressure needle valve tap would be suitable?

If the bunnings tap gives way, the Soda Stram cylinder will make a very efficient self propelled mortar :(
