Good morning all.
Been brewing wheat beers for quite some time and just fermenting them on the kitchen bench. I use a tilt hydrometer and they normally take around 6 days to fully ferment.
I am in Brisbane and they seem to sit around 22-25 degrees.
I have now brought a fermenting fridge and have set it at 20 degrees. The first beer has been in for 24 hours and no sign of any fermentation. My question is will it take longer to ferment at the lower temperature? And will this change the flavour of the beer as I was very happy with it before but thought that fermenting in a fridge was a step forward.
