but on a long shot... anyone know of a bargain price for heavy duty silcon hose at the moment?

I think the Keg King stuff is super cheap PFS, about $5 a metre. 11.5mm x 18mm.

cheers Razz, yeah KK seems to be 1mm thicker than i bought last time but i've killed it by not cleaning straight after use, so may go with them again, but was hoping to get serious heavy duty to hook up to a pump this time.

KK's new silicone hose should be more than sufficient for any pressures seen in the average home brewers set up.
It is much thicker than the old stuff.

Some braided transfer hose might be better for your home nuclear enrichment facility.

yeah i just double checked with them and still at 4.95... at that price i'll get the system up and running with it. worst case, it splits and i have boiling wort spewing across the back yard or myself!
