Having just put a pack of 1335 on my stirplate here is the result. How much yeast is a good result? I actually took around 20ml out of the smack pack to use in vials for future brews. Interesting as this pack was almost nine months old and has produced quite a bit of yeast in around 48hours. Wort was made from runnings of a previous brew at around 1.030 gravity and kept in the freezer (the wort that is). I also didn't smack the yeast nutrient pack and opted to take it out and use it in a future brew.

So, show us how your starter has finished. What yeast? What conditions? etc.
