I am tempted to order some of the hop plant rhyzomes from Grumpys for the 'homegrown' homebrew, but wonder if there are some sort of restrictions on bringing live plants into WA.
Having seen the warnings at the airport and at the quaranteen post at the Eucla I don't fancy a visit from the boys with the latex gloves for an inspection!
Anyone got any advice? Order and don't worry?

Dommy

Order and dont worry, plenty of people in WA have got rhyzomes from Grumpys or from Tassie

Dommy,

I ordered some from a bloke named Mark Ellis in Melbourne and they got here no dramas, as did Asher and others. Just order.

Cheers.

You can bring plant material like hops rhizomes into WA, they just cant be packaged in soil or hay should be packed in damp paper.

Mine came packed in soil though So I just buried it somewhere no one would find it....

So order away!!

Asher for now
