Hi hope this is in the right section ! Am new to home brewing and am only on my second brew only problem is in my eagerness to get the ball rolling i forgot to put the little sediment reducer thingy in the back of the tap and what i would like to know is what effect this is going to have when it is time to bottle this batch of beer ? any advice most welcome cheers

G'day Steve,

In my opinion the sediment reducers are basically a waste of space anyway, so I wouldn't worry about leaving it out. Just let your beer ferment out fully, and let it settle and you won't notice it is missing :)

Steve,
Dont worry about it.
These things are usless anyway.
After a while you will not use it anymore.

Luckily you left it out. Now you can throw it in the bin without delay!

Steve I gave up using mine 100 odd brews ago! Pointless little things they are....dont worry about it.
Cheers
Steve (pom also)

Got rid of all mine a long time ago too.
Makes it quicker to rack and transfer to the keg.
