Sorry Carniebrew,you're right I was going to use Safale US 05 but after your comment I checked what came with the kit.As I'm only a newbie my knowledge is only what I can pick up on AHB and members comments on my quieries.
Back to the bitter taste in the second brew.I assume it will get better if left in the bottle a bit longer.Mind you ,the bottle I cracked was still OK just very bitter.
