"Are you capable of doing all grain?" would be the first question.

You need a bit more gear for it.

If you have the gear have look on the search function and you will find heaps of info on how to make beer flavoured soft drink and the terminology. :p.

I am guessing that as this is your first post and 'want to make a start' that you have never brewed before? Maybe the jump to extract is better then straight to all grain (the recipe you found).

Maybe try this:

23lt batch
2kg Light Dry Malt Extract LDME
0.5kg Dextrose
20g Cluster hops boil for 60 min
US-05 Yeast

Can get all of from LHBS or if ordering online Cheeky Peak is a forum sponser and who I use.

Basically you will want to put in about 5lt of water in a sourcepan 500g of LDME then boil 20g of Cluser hops in this for 60min, strain into fermemntor through a sanitised sieve.

Add rest of the LDME and dextrose to ferm top up to 23 lt then get as close to 18C as you can, pitch US-05 then fit airlock and wait 2 weeks. Bottle, wait another 2-4 weeks then enjoy.
