Saving Primed Bottles For Later?

So, I was planning a massive bottling day. 3 beers bottled in an afternoon.
Sterilised and primed all of my bottles first, but I've realised that one of the beers isn't finished yet.

I figure I have 3 options:
1: cap and keep the bottles for a few days until the beer is finished
2: don't cap the bottles but keep them and hope they are still sterile in a few days time.
3: rinse and clean all bottles and start from scratch when the beer is ready.

Does anyone have any experience or advice about keeping bottles for a few days after they were primed?

I would start from scratch.

Might work but how annoyed would you be if all you got was gushing, infected beer? Worth the time saving?

Bulk priming is less hassle than individually priming each bottle.

+1 to that...priming bottles is a nightmare....bulk priming is no harder than boiling ~150gm of sugar in 200ml of water, cooling it and either pouring into your fermenter (and stirring carefully), or pouring into another fermenter and racking your beer on top of it.

But I agree with manticle...start again to be sure.
