The Sanke fitting is the same as a CUB keg, but this relates to the internal dimensions for the coupling - I couldn't say if the external dimensions of the neck would be the same. You also need to realise that the Sanke keg is a different volume to the 50 litre kegs used in Oz and this is could affect the depth.
One thing that is the same between the USA and Oz kegs is that it is illegal to steal a keg to use as a fermenter.
