I've just taken a walk round the veggie patch with a crushed Riwaka flower thinking about brewing a gruit... Rosemary seems like it's got way too much oil and also make me think of roast lamb too much for a beer ingredient but sage seems like it might be okay.

Anyone tried a sage brew? I've looked over a few recipes but haven't ever tried such a beer.

If I had bog myrtle I'd be brewing Fraoch for sure.... but that's still proving hard to find.
