I will be brewing next weekend, a basic wheat with a K97 yeast, has anyone had experience with this strain, pros and cons ?

My viking friend the easiest thing is do a search on here you'll get more info that way as its been gone over a few times.
Its not a wheat yeast as such but a german ale yeast.
If you want a real wheat yeast you'll need to use something else.

The search engine did not recognise my input - k97.
When I posted the new topic it ended up where it did, out of my control.
DCL market k97 as a german ale yeast that can be used for Belgian type wheat beers.

try this one for a start.

you might have to try a few different searches sometimes using different names.

I don't know what happened with it getting posted in humor and jokes.
where you in the right forum page when you posted it.
I know this may seem trival and iam just being a forum nazi.
Anyway good luck with the brew.
