A winemaking associate of mine sent me the following link to this year's Tanunda show.
If you follow the link to competiton and scroll down you wil find home brewed beer.
So if you are interested in entering a local show, apparently not just for local people, this could be your chance.
ENTRY FEE: $1.00
Entries close: Wednesday 8th March, 2006
Classes are:
1. Pale Ale (incl. English Bitter, Australian, IPA & Mild)
2. Dark Ale (Incl. Borwn, Porter, Red & Scottish
3. Lager (incl. Pilsener, Australian, Continental, Bock & American)
4. Stout (incl. Dry, Sweet, Irish, Australian, Imperial & Foreign
5. Speciality Beer (incl. Spiced, Chilli, Herb, Fruit, Vegetable, Smoked,
Barley Wines, Belgian Dubbels, Trippels & Lambics, Dopplebock,
Lemonade & Ginger Beer)
There are a few likely looking lads listed among the judges and stewards (Pedro, Darren, GMK)
All the rest of the details are on the web site. You never know your luck in the small Barossa town.
