Past away at 89 years after short illness with cancer. Longest serving 007 but I remember him in the series Ivanhoe and as the The Saint. (In black as white tv as well)
Past away in Switzerland where he lived.
 
Great memories of this man. My first Bond movie for my 12th birthday at the Moe drive-in, Live and let die. Me and two mates sitting on the front bench seat of mum and dad's falcon wagon and mum sitting in the back.
 
being in my 40's he is def who I see in my head when I think of James Bond
