Resizing Pics On A Mac

hello all.

i struggle with computer related issues and for the life of me i can't remember how to up load a pic ( resizing is the issue) i have a mac.......what is the easiest way to get a pic to 2mb?

I go through iPhoto click "export" in the file menu, then resize it to medium (or whatever size it needs to be) then save it to desktop from there I go through AHB to upload the file.

I am sure there is an easier way but it works for me.

You can always download GIMP (http://www.gimp.org/downloads/) which is a FREE Photoshop style program.
