OK guys, this may sound really dumb or obvious, but...
i was looking at my new keg freezer today and thinking that i would like to purchase a small C02 bottle to fit inside it (i currently have a large shoulder height one, i think its F size?) . But the F size is full and will take eons to empty, so my question is, can i fill up an empty CO2 bottle from the LHBS from the larger bottle that i have? Is there a fitting or handpiece i can use?
Or is this really dangerous and i shouldnt even be thinking about attempting this?

Cheers!
Andy

The simple answer is it's too complex / risky. You can buy 2.6Kg cylinders as cheap as $180 delivered off eBay and they come filled. Then you can just take them to any LHBS which does refills ($20-$25 normally).
