Anyone know of a good site or a book full of AG recipes?

Really just doing a few of these before making the jump to making my own

I have a number of books with AG recipes.
My two favourites for recipes are

Brew Classic European Beers at Home Info here.
and
Brewing the Worlds Great Beers Info here

Beers,
Doc

so far my first AG Book every bought was Beer Captured...

Not bad...lots of recipees and info....

Any comments from anyone else out there that has read it?

TDA, do you know of an Aussie shop that has Brew Your Own Real Ale at Home Can't be bothered getting it from overseas unless I wait until I want a few books from amazon ... <_<

Looks like it has a Fullers ESB recipe in it, have you tried brewing one of them?

Are they all in imperial measures?

Batz, they have metric measures.

JasonY, I haven't brewed that recipe but did brew my own version of an ESB.
Here is recipe for Fullers ESB (23 litre batch)

OG 1054 Mash Efficiency 80%

4.95kg Pale ale malt
165g Crystal malt
385g Flaked Maize
31g Black Malt

18g Target (Start of boil)
27g Challenger (Start of boil)

20g Goldings (Last 15min)

Mash Schedule 66C (90min)
Boil Time 90min
Final gravity 1013
Alcohol Content 5.6%ABV
IBU 35
Colour 31EBC

Any good English Ale Yeast.

I will post my own recipe later.

Cheers and bollocks

Cheers TDA, will give this one or yours a bash for the next brew, did one that was similar but used choc malt instead of black and northern brewer hops. Tasty brew but still a bit off the fullers.

JasonY
Looks like grain and grape have them all

If you join CAMRA you can get quite a few sent over for a very good price. Very worth doing!

Looking at Grain and Grape , and notice the book ' Brewing your own real ale at home " is sold out

I thought I would buy this book to start with , anyhow the books at the bottom of the page

Vic. Brew 98 and 99 , recipes , only $8.00 , anyone have these ? are they worthy addition to my homebrew recipe books ?

Currently having the first preliminary pint of my interpretation of the Fullers ESB recipe above (from TDA - CAMRA). While it is a little cloudy (only been 1 week in keg) it is pretty bloody tasty. From what I can recall of the three fullers ESB stubbies I have sampled it has a very similar flavour profile. I would rate this as my best ESB to date and will be refining this one some more! Promash calced the IBU's as a bit higher but after tasting I think it is spot on. Well worth a try if you like Fullers ESB.

Didn't have any flaked corn so the recipe has been tweaked a bit.

Hmm not in this one, lot more body too it than the ordinary bitter I bought to the WCB meet a couple of weeks ago, not sure what went wrong there.

Drinking the second pint now and there is a slight flavour I am not sure about ... kind of plasticy ... I think (hope) it is the beer line I am using ... hasn't been in use for quite a while. Still very happy with the flavour however :).

LOL - that was un-called for GL !!!

(that was a bloody good beer Jason)
