Walllace's House Lager #9

Pilsner - American Light Lager
All Grain
- - - - -

Brewer's Notes

Mash: 55Deg for 20min, 66Deg 60min, 75-77Deg 15min.

OG was 1056 FG was 1012

Approx ABV is 5.7% (I also bottled this so i think i should add another 0.5%)
Ferment with WY2001 Pilsner Urquell @ 9deg (i let this go for 5 weeks then CC'd for 2 weeks with polyclar).

Beersmith says IBU is 23.1 which from my experience is pretty bloody spot-on!

Carared is caraamber

EDIT: 8/7/2011 Dropped the 10 min POR addition and upped the late Hallertau addition from 3g to 4g. This has completely changed the beer.

Have recently done this with S-189 and WY2001. The S-189 Finished about 6 days earlier.

Errrr NO! I CC'd for 2 weeks, bulk primed and bottled it! Let it condition at ambient for a couple of months and cracked one this arvo. No Lagering, this tastes and looks pretty clean on its own.
Hope this helps :icon_cheers:
