Barts wild RYE'd

Wheat - Roggenbier
All Grain

Brewer's Notes

Very time consuming but rewarding beer. I BIAB so it may have been a fraction easier. Gelatine and let CC for a long time i reccomend, let it settle right out. Use choc rye and caramel rye, (not listed in DB)
Also used wey Rye for base malt.
My OG was 1040 on a 20L batch, finished at 1012. I actually only got about 18L to bottle due to the huge sludge build up in the carboy.

Forgive the post if ur still working in the recipe.

What yeast, is it US northern brewer or UK? . I'm assuming it's a funk beer as you've called it 'wild'

Edit. Forbidden fruit huh? So not a funk beer?

Sounds interesting

Nothing funky about this one, lol. heaven in a glass.
US NB.
