It would be cool if the recipe db had some kind of search where you could input the ingredients you have and spit out matching recipes.
I have got the following ingredients (I am using BIAB and no chill):
5kg Pils Malt JW
0.5kg Crystal Malt JW
1kg Munich Malt JW
0.25kg Carapils
Galaxy Flowers 400g
Centennial Pellets 450g
Cascade Pellets 450g
Hallertau Pellets 450g
Nelson Sauvin Pellets 100g
Nottingham
Safale US-05
Saflager 34/70
Have done 5 BIAB so far which have been lagers and fake lagers without too much bittering.
This time I was thinking something with a bit more malt complexity and also more hop flavour/aroma (was thinking maybe APA).
I was hoping to use the centennial as I have never tried it before but have heard good things.
Was thinking something like:
4.5kg Pils Malt
0.5kg Munich
0.25kg Crystal
10g Centennial 60 min (perhaps up ammount and try FWH?)
15g Centennial 15g Cascade 30 min (maybe 20 or 15 mins to account for no chill?)
Then probably french press 20g Cascade?
Us-05
Suggestions?
Edit: Should probably add I use a 40L urn, normally start with 33L water and end up with 27L in urn at end of boil and 23L in fermenter after cubing.
