Ben,
That recipie is almost the same as the one listed on grumpys site, down to the volumes of malt.
Doc it might be the one.......AHHH which recipie did you use, being that you were brewing today????

yes, decisions decisions decisions.
I couldn't decide.

Thanks to everyone that replied, but no-one had brewed them.

So I went with Millers Cream Ale recipe with a mix of rolled oats.

So the colour is almost an Irish Red, with rolled oats and with the Wyeast 1084 yeast (thanks Linz :p )

Looked good. Smelt good. Missed my gravity a little because the oats I used didn't give the extract calculated by Promash. Will still be a good high 4% beer though and hopefully nice and creamy ala Kilkenny style.

Will keep everyone informed when it is ready.

Beers,
Doc

Is that an invite to come over and try it????

ooooh I don't know about that Linz.
The number of times I've been using my carbonation cap recently to try beers, means there might not be much left to actually keg :D

Also Doc's Orders Brewery location is a heavily guarded secret.
I guess we could always do the early morning exchange in the car park in disguise as usual B)

Beers,
Doc

100-odd guys in a car park aint really a disguise is it Doc??
