Recipe Check: Kits And Bits Porter

Hi all,

Just after a check on a Porter recipe I came up with based on a kit to tide me over until the 3 tier AG setup is finished...

1.7kg Coopers Lager
2.0kg LDME
400g Carafa II
100g Choc Malt
100g Cocoa powder
30g EKG @ 30mins
15g EKG @ 5mins
1469 yeast
25L

Kit extract designer reckons: OG 1.055 / FG 1.014 / ABV 5.6% / IBU 31.8 / EBC 64.2

Any thoughts? Its meant to be a smooth drinker that the lady will like

Ditch the cocoa powder from your recipe and it will be a nice porter. :icon_cheers:
