I just got wind of a pretty cool sounding beer event from my sister who works at Wollongong uni.
The preliminary details are on page 22 of the September-October issue of Research & Innovation News.
Date is 29 November at FIBC and in my sister's words:
"Not only tasting, but UOW chemists will give demonstrations on a range of different things (showing & explaining the science behind what different storage conditions do, brewing different hops teas to show/taste the difference; and also come experiments to break beer back down to its basic components)"
Sounds pretty good in the newsletter too.
I think more info is going to come out on a flyer so if I get it I'll post it up.
