Howdy fellow keggers, if a keg is emptied, cleaned with water and stored with CO2 in it for about a week, does it need re cleaning when you refill with beer.

Can't see why you would need to clean again but I would certainly give them a dose of sanitiser before refilling to be sure.

i would just pour in some boiling water....swirl around and pour out.
I do this twice on my empty kegs - no probs so far....

I just leave mine full of the remainin CO2 from when the keg runs out and then clean and sanitise when i need it.
