Seen this in Bali, whist looking for a place to score some nice beers, couldn't find too much on it?

Anyone tried it? Know where its made?

I'm looking for some nice craft beers in Bali if anyone has any pointers.

I had that in Ujung Pandang before having to make a hasty exit from Indonesia, it is not a beer but a sparking wine, I was told when I ordered it that it was Chinese beer (which it wasn't) very sweet.

Judging from the Wade-Giles pinyin I am assuming this is some kind of grape wine/beer?

'pu tao' means grape in Mandarin. Is it made locally in Bali?

Edit: beaten to it. It's all Wade - Giles till they got to 'Chiew' :)

Good luck with this mate! There's a brewery in the north of Bali called Stark which makes a drinkable dunkel. Could buy it at the large supermarket in ubud.
