No. Normally I use dextrose and bulk prime so you can adjust the carbonation to suit the beer.
However I can't imagine raw sugar will noticably effect the taste of your real ale!
Just try it and see.

Raw won't leave anything that you'll notice flavour-wise.

Depending on the beer type I'll occasionally prime a keg. Like to use Demerara or Dark Brown Sugar for Porters, Milds etc. Don't notice much with such small amounts. Just seems the right thing to do.

Virtually all sugars will just completely ferment anyway.
