I'm in the same boat captain kirk, did my first ever hb on new years day, the lager and be1 that came with the kit. I like fruity hop style beers aswell so I put a 25 gram bag of cascade hops in a cup of boiling water and soaked for 10mins then added water and bag to fermenter when pitching the yeast as per instructions. Just smellimg the hop bag was exciting for me. The flavour is there but it's not over the top. Definitely looking forward to more experimentation and progression. I have to say this forum has been such gold for me! So much good information and so many knowledgeable brewers.

Cheers for the recipe. If I don't have a pot can I just dry hop for the same effect? Or will it not be the same?
