Geelong Craft Brewers had decided to build a bit of a portable bar, our annual break up camp was always a bit of a mess with people bringing all sorts of ice, bins etc. The club wanted to give something back to the members, so it was decided.

We picked up some coolroom panels off ebay for $70 and we started the build.

It will fit 8 kegs with 8 taps, a movable divider will split the interior up to fit 2,4,6 or all 8 kegs. 100mm coolroom panel means the ice should last for a long time.

It will be on a removable dolly frame built for purpose to make it easy to move around etc.

Front and back panels are skinned on one side only and we will apply either some corrugated iron or something more decorative.

Yet to build the font riser, will be two section of panel joined with a groove/home run for shank nut & line.

Fun project.

Pics so far......

Been a while and time to update. Keg King were terrific about giving the club a discount, so it is fully fitted with 8 stainless Intertap, non flow control models.

Then, the font block can be filled with ice to keep the lines and taps cold, each line runs through a 90mm piece of storm water PVC pipe and can be stuffed with ice. Melted water simply runs down back into the main chamber. Chilly!

Two gas manifolds handle the 8 gas lines we need.

8 beer lines with 4mm Bevlex line, super flexible even when sub zero.

Got tiny hands? We could have used you installing the nuts on each shank! Fortunately @HoppinMad has smaller hands than my ham fists!

Yeah but now you need to rename the thread '8 tap Portable Iced chilled coffin keezer' cause it'll just make it easier for us copy cats to find later. I mean anyone can build a single TA system.

Epic
