Hi

I have just put a Coopers pale ale down and used the kit int yeast that came with it. I had a normal yeast (reg coopers not international) in the fridge so I chucked that in also.

Is this ok?
Will it make any difference by putting both yeasts in?

Thanks

Probably better for it IMO

I have recently learnt that the one 6g pack of yeast is well under what you really need to ferment your beer

Google yeast pitching calculator. Mr Malty has one that gives volumes for dry, liquid and slurry. Haven't used it in practise but it does open the eyes as to the insufficient quantities of dry yeast in the kits.... unless you want to brew with an OG of 1.030.
