G'day...

I've got a couple of old coke pin lock kegs, the ones with a small screw thread for the center pour area rather than the modern flip seal mechanism...

Question is, does anyone know if the pin lock posts are the same with the old pin lock kegs and the newer Cornelius style pin lock kegs?

Thanks in advance!

they should be the same..gas is two pin post and liquid should be three pin..

After more investigation, my kegs appear to be old rheem coke kegs. The gas is two pin post and liquid is three but I was told by the original owner that the actual post is of different size To the Cornelius pin lock kegs, hence making the disconnects uncompatible. Is that correct?

The new, commonly available red plastic pinlock disconnects DO NOT fit the older Rheem or Mytton Rodd posts. The posts are different diameter.
It is possible to change the posts to ball lock or to buy the older style disconnects from places such as Andale but they are not cheap.
Cheers
Nige
