Permanent marker for mash tuns

Hey guys,

This bad boy seems to tick all the boxes (permanent, waterproof, non-toxic) for marking plastics and potentially even stainless if you're not confident with etching:

Readily available at Officeworks for eg.

Anybody used permanent markers before and had any issues?

I have a stainless ruler with permanent texta markings on it for checking volume levels at flameout, I have a 15L cube that has permanent marker marks that let me measure how much goes into the mash/kettle.

Boiling, acidic wort... Maybe, although I was meaning more for plastic eskies. Currently have a yesterday underway, will see results.

Yeah, that would be a downside, no wheat or wit beers if you use black marker.
